Rain forest trek in Sinharaja is one of the most exciting things to do in the island of Sri Lanka. Sinharaj rain forest explortaion begins at the main entrance located towards the western bufferzone of the rain forest. The jungle trek takes you to some along the buzzer zone. Along the way, you’ll become educated on how to safely explore real primary rainforest, and then you’ll begin your hike to the mountainous areas of the forest. After a rest on the cliff and a well-deserved picnic-style lunch, later return journey to the starting point og the trek. Back at the main entrance, you can take a wash and take off all the mud, leaves and branches you might have collected during your hike
